Rejected Article/Reproduction
APPEALS POLICY
Authors whose articles have been rejected have the right to send a letter of appeal giving detailed explanations. The reasons of manuscript rejection may be one or more of the following;
1. Manuscript not align with the aims, objectives and scope of JSMC,
2. Manucsipt not ful filling the ethical considertation as per the JSMC ethical policy,
3. Gross mistakes in manuscript like; weaknesess in Material & Methods, Results, discussion and references sections etc,
4. When th emanuscript is rejected by more than one expert peer reviewers, and the editorial board JSMC is satisfied with the peer reviewers decision,
5. Any gross irregularity, like data tempering etc, is detected during the manuscript processing.
The appeal will be reviewed in-house, the decision will be taken accordingly and will be communicated to the concerned.
Revised articles will not be considered at this stage.
REPRODUCTION OF PREVIOUSLY PUBLISHED ARTICLES
Reproducing material from other sources
It is the author's responsibility to secure all permissions prior to submission of the manuscript. Any part of the article accessed from another source, should be accompanied by a signed letter of consent from the copyright holder, which may be the author, journal or the publisher.
Reproducing material published by JSMC
No part of the Journal may be reproduced, stored in a retrieval system, or transmitted in any form or by any other means, electronic, mechanical photocopying, recording or otherwise, without prior permission, in writing, of the Journal of the Saidu Medical College. This includes material previously published by the requesting author.
RESPONSES TO PUBLISHED WORK
Comments on previously published articles in JSMC will be reviewed by the editor-in-chief and forwarded to the authors of the published manuscript for a reply. Such responses to published work will be published as "Letter to Editor".
